A beautifully crafted hand-turned wooden breadboard made in sycamore for Twice by craftsman Hugh Leishman.
Hand-turned Wooden Breadboard features:
- Hand turned especially for Twice by master wood turner Hugh Leishman
- Made from sycamore, which is recommended for kitchen use due to it's tight grain. These breadboards are fiddleback sycamore which is the highest quality
- Made in the style of traditional breadboards but with a contemporary feel

Tradition in the Making:
- The history of wood turning is as old as time - man first turned wood with a pole lathe thousands of years ago, Leonardo da Vinci invented a treadle lathe in about 1500 and mechanised lathes in the early 1900s.
- The wood we have used is fiddleback sycamore which, as it's name suggests. is the wood used to make violins.
- The design is of this breadboard is inspired by the traditional wooden breadboards of Victorian times
